OWLS~Older Wiser Learning Seniors 65+: Special Outing, Tue., Feb. 28, 8;30 AM to 3:30 PM. Senior Fest 2012 at CLU, Marva Dawn, Keynote Speaker. Lunch Included. We will meet at CTK to carpool to CLU. Contact Sheila Ilten for details and to RSVP.
Newbury Park Walking Club: Get off on the right foot! Meet on Saturdays, 8:00 AM, at Christ the King. Bring a bottle of drinking water and wear comfortable walking shoes. Group support, varied routes, progressive levels, and the price is right… FREE! For more information contact Belinda Poore.
CPR and First Aid Training Class
Sat. March 10th, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. American Red Cross certification, each valid for 2 years.
$65 for both classes, or $65 for only 1 class. CPR in morning 8-12, lunch break 12-1, First Aid in afternoon 1-4. Please contact Lisa Garcia at lighthouse2433@mail.com for more info and to register.
Volunteers are needed to help with Braille. We meet on Thursday mornings and have a lot of fun serving the Lord. If you are interested, please contact Mike Cowen, or just show up on Thursday morning in the Youth Room at 9:00 AM.
Labels and E-LABELS for Education: In addition to actual labels, we can earn points for our CTK Preschool electronically using our shopper cards at Vons, Ralphs, Albertsons and Pavillions.
